Confronting AIDS Country by Country

Officially launched in May 2005, the L'Oréal-UNESCO HAIRDRESSERS AGAINST AIDS programme is already operational throughout 24 countries : South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa (Kenya + Ouganda + Tanzanie + Botswana + Namibie), Brazil, France, UK, China, Italy, Spain, India, Portugal, Malaisia, Thailand, Germany, Poland, Argentina, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Venezuela, Russia, The Netherlands, Romania, Japan and Uruguay.

The learning module is already available in English, Chinese, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Plans are advanced for a programme in the U.S.A with the L'Oréal subsidiary. Other language versions and country programmes will be added in a rolling fashion.
