This year we will organize the World AIDS Day in unique partnership with the National Center for AIDS of the Ministry of Health.
Our actions
This year we will be organising World AIDS Day in partnership with the Ministry of Health's National AIDS Centre. 3 days prior to the event, the Palace of Culture, the most famous building in Warsaw, will be decorated with the red ribbon (to 5 storeys) with the participation of the Centre, the Professional Division and the Town Marshal’s Office. The poster will remain in place for 10 days. The ribbon will also adorn the Warsaw Mermaid, our emblem in the Old Market Square. Organisers: the Centre, the Professional Division and the capital's Mayor, Mrs Anna Gronkiewicz-Walz. All front pages of newspapers throughout Poland will display the red ribbon. Opinion periodicals and women’s magazines will include reports on the event. 1,400 hair salons, L’Oreal Professionnel and Matrix will receive posters (enclosed) with instructions for displaying them in their window displays. (The text states: Our salon is taking part in HIV/AIDS education and prevention). Leaflets will be available for customers in these salons. L’Oreal Polska staff will follow an educational course on AIDS, led by specialists from the National AIDS Centre
